MultiLink PPP for Win2000

You must have a MultiLink PPP enabled account for this to work. Contact Infobahn at help@abingdon.net or (800) 839-3706 for details.

1) Click on Start --> Settings --> Network and Dialup Connections
2) Right Click on your abingdon.net connection
3) Click on Properties
4) Under the General tab
a) Check the boxes next to the modems you wish to use
b) Check the box next to "All devices dial the same phone number"
5) Click on the Options tab:
In the "Multiple Devices" box, choose "Dial all modems"
Windows 2000 can be configured to use addtional devices only when traffic is heavy. You can can configure this by choosing "Dial devices only as needed" instead and then clicking on the configure button.
6) Click on the Networking tab
Click on the Settings button
"Enable LCP Extensions" should NOT be checked
"Enable Software Compression" should be checked
"Negotiate multi-link for single link connection should be checked
7) Click on OK
8) Click on OK
