Create Your Own Home Page

To make it easy for any abingdon.net Personal Web space subscriber to create his/her own home page, we have created a World Wide Web form that makes it easy. This personal web can have up to four text sections and a section of up to eight hot links to other sites of your choosing. You must have a Web browser that supports forms in order to use this interface (most newer browsers do).

This form to create your personal home page will as you for:

  • Your login and password
  • The title of your home page (can be your name or anything you want)
  • The title of each of the four text sections (will be skipped if left blank)
  • The text for each of the four sections (will be skipped if left blank)
  • The title for your Hot-Links section
  • The clickable text for each hot-link
  • The Web address (URL) each link should take you to
  • The color you want:
    • The background
    • The text
    • Hot-Links
    • Hot-Links already visited
    • Hot-Links as they are clicked
  • What background image (if any) you want: [click here for examples]
  • Style of page access counter you would like (click for examples):
